Mica Powders

Our mica powders are fine, cosmetic-grade pigments that create luminous, pearlescent effects. Use them to add depth, sheen and swirl patterns that standard dyes can’t achieve.

For wax melts, dust moulds lightly or stir a small amount into melted wax for bold colour and shine. In candles, micas work best as surface decoration or in embeds to keep the wick area clear and burning cleanly.

Start with a pinch per cavity or a small test batch, then adjust until you get the look you want. Mix thoroughly for even dispersion and rotate moulds to encourage natural marbling.

For a solid base colour, combine your favourite dye with mica accents - dye sets the tone, mica adds the sparkle. Keep simple notes on your ratios so you can repeat winning shades.
