Golden Wax 464 (GW464) Soy Container Wax

Melt Point: 45 - 48°C
Pour Temperature: 60 - 80°C depending on container size and room temperature.
Max Fragrance: 10% although 7-8% is usually plenty in this wax.

Please note: We do not recommend using essential oils in candles, even though some may perform reasonably well. The flashpoint, especially in citrus-type essential oils, is quite low and the direct flame of the wick in contact with the wax, a candle can easily catch fire. Essential oils do tend to work quite well in 'melts' as the heat source is not in direct contact with the wax. For candle making we recommend the use fragrance oils which have been specially designed for use in candles as their safety has been tested for the intended use. All essential oils due to their raw nature may discolour the wax. If essential oils are to be used in a candle application, please test in small quantities first and increase the ratio gradually to no more than 6%, being mindful of the high flammability of the raw material. As advised before, we do not recommend the use of essential oils in candles.

High quality

This is a high quality soy wax. 464 is a little fussy when cooling. Tip, let the wax cool slowly to room temperature.
My order came quickly per post. Really happy with NIcandlesupplies.

Golden 464

Have started using this wax as a replacement for my previous wax which was discontinued. I’ve had a bumpy start with this one but have to say I’m getting better with practice. Hot and cold throw are pretty good, am getting better with the tops as initially they were a little lumpy. Overall it’s a good wax.

Of all the waxes I've tried, this is by far the best!

This wax saved my orders for this season. I was used to work with ecosoya (now discontinued), but I found this GB soy wax 464 a nice replacement. Nice cold and hot throw, smooth tops, it needs at least 10 days to cure. I used 126 HTP wicks in large cambridge jars, I was worried that htp wicks do not perform well in this wax, but luckily I was wrong. I recommend it! NIcandle you are the best when it comes to service & delivery, even if I live abroad. Thanks!
